IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL PATIENTS

In observation of the current COVID-19 outbreak, Imperial Medical Clinic will be implementing the following measures in efforts to minimize risk of COVID-19 transmission:
Telephone and Video Appointments Only
All appointments will be switched to either telephone or video telehealth appointments.
– Your appointment time will be the same. You do not need to come into the clinic.
TELEPHONE or VIDEO APPOINTMENT:
– Telephone: Keep your phone available and wait for a call from our clinic; Or
– Video: Use your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or PC. We suggest you use Chrome (Android/iOS/PC) or Safari (iOS) as your web-browser and allow Chrome to access your webcam and microphone. Click on Virtual Waiting Room.
– If your Family Doctor has indicated you for a in-clinic appointment, you will be given instructions by our medical staff.
There will be no access to the clinic unless authorized, no exceptions. All interactions will be conducted by phone or video.
COVID-19 Concerns
- If you have any concerns regarding COVID-19 or feel sick, book a telephone or video telehealth appointment with your family physician. You will be triaged accordingly by your physician.
- Testing will be conducted in accordance to BC CDC guidelines.
- Due to an increasing demand on staff workload, we will not be able to provide notes regarding work absence.
