General Questions

Are services covered by MSP?
Yes, most services that are a covered benefit of MSP (BC Medical Services Plan) will be provided under MSP Guidelines. If you have coverage from another province outside of BC, please contact our office as some services may not be covered under MSP reciprocal agreeement.
Are you currently taking new patients?

As of April 2022, we have reached capacity.

We are not currently accepting new patients and our wait list is now closed.

 If you are a Burnaby resident, please visit the Burnaby DIvisions of Family Practice website to join the Patient Attachment Waitlist.

Do you have patient parking?
Limited patient parking is available in our rear parking lot. Please do not double park your vehicle as you may be towed at your expense.

Street side parking is also available in front of the clinic (until 3:00PM).

Please note:

There is one accessible parking spot available in the rear parking lot, please display a valid permit when parking in this spot.

Street-side parking till 3PM is strictly enforced. Please ensure your vehicle is moved prior to 3PM as the City of Burnaby may tow your vehicle.

Can I book my appointment online?
Yes. You may book general appointments online if you are a current family practice patient of ours. If you urgently require an appointment, or require assistance, please call our office.
Do you offer same day appointments?
Generally, we book our appointments a few days in advance. We do reserve same day appointment slots with most of our family physicians for urgent medical matters. If you have a urgent medical matter and require a same day appointment, please call as soon as possible as there are limited same day slots available.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Our clinic is equipped with at grade level entrance (front door) and a full size elevator. Please note, we currently do not have an automated front door. If you require any further assistance, please contact us prior to your arrival and we will accomodate to the best of our abilities.
Do you offer walk ins?

We are currently a full service family practice.  We do not offer walk ins at this time.

This is my first appointment, what do I need to bring/know?
We recommend all patients arrive 10-15 minutes early. Please also have your BC Services Card (formerly BC CareCard) ready upon checking in.

New patients, upon checking in, you will be asked to fill out a consent form and general intake form.

Please also bring a list of your current medications with you.

I have a form that needs to be filled by my doctor, what do I do?
Please call ahead and let us know what kind of form is to be filled as well as the urgency.  Some forms may require a review of your records and/or extra time in order to complete it properly.

Please also note, some forms are not a covered benefit of MSP and will incur a private fee. Please see our private fee schedule or contact us for more details.

Do you charge a "No Show' or "Late Cancellation" Fee?
Yes, this fee is set at $50.00 as of October 2019. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, or, cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you may be charged this fee. This fee is not a covered benefit of MSP.
